This is Lalapi, the yuru-chara mascot of Life Supermarket introduced in the chapter titled "The World Greatest Supermarket" of "PRETTY GOOD NUMBER ONE: An American Family Eats Tokyo" written by Matthew Amster-Burton. The mascot is created by Ms. Atsuko Nishida, a famous character designer who contributed to the design of Pikachu. Lalapi has entered Yuru Chara Grand Prix 2017, ranking the 46th as of Aug. 8.
